What Are You Putting Off Today?

What Leads to Inaction

“There are risks and costs to action. But they are far less than the long range risks of comfortable inaction.” - John F. Kennedy

There’s something that you’re putting off right now. There’s some big thing that you want to go accomplish right now but you aren’t taking action. For many of us, the reason that we don’t take action and put things off is fear. Fear of failure. Fear that it isn’t good enough. Fear of what others will think. FEAR! And this leads to inaction and paralysis.

What is it that you’re putting off right now? What is it that you want to go achieve but you’re too afraid to take the first step? Write that thing down.

Now when you have that thing that you know that you need to do or that big goal that you desire to go achieve, break that thing down into 3 or 4 steps that you need to accomplish in order to reach that big thing. Now list them in order. #1…#2…#3…#4. Start to do those things. Break that huge thing down into actionable steps. When you do #1 check it off. Then go to #2.

Make it manageable! Make it attainable! Don’t let this big thing that you want to accomplish paralyze you. Stop overanalyzing!

Go do that big thing today! That’s how you build, by taking smaller manageable actions.
