Perfection is Impossible...Chase It Anyways

Did You Give Your Best When Your Best Was Needed?

Perfection is something that’s elusive. We’ll never be perfect.

So why chase after something we’ll never achieve?

While true perfection may be unattainable, the relentless pursuit of excellence is a worthy endeavor in itself.

Success should not be measured solely by the absence of mistakes. Instead, it should be defined by the unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and the relentless pursuit of one's full potential.

We need to ask ourselves this one question: “Given my talent and my situation, did I do everything that I could do in this moment to be the very best that I could be?”

Don’t judge yourself based on whether or not you achieved [BLANK].

Judge yourself based on how close you were to giving 100% in the situations that needed you to give 100%.

Did you give your best effort?

Did you work towards perfection, knowing that you will likely come up short?

Did you adapt when things didn’t go your way?

Did you give what all that you were able to give?

I pray that your day is full of reminders of God’s love and faithfulness. May you faithfully build your life on Christ.

“But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in my weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
