Christian Influence
Our Responsibility and Response as Leaders

“Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” - Proverbs 11:14
Leaders have influence through their words and actions. They are called to lead by example and to use their position of influence to serve others. As a Christian that is in a leadership position, your influence over others should be used wisely, with humility and integrity, always seeking to honor God and to help others grow in their relationship with Him.
Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." It’s important to have wise leaders who provide guidance and counsel to those under their influence. Christian leaders have a responsibility to provide guidance that is grounded in biblical truth and wisdom, helping others to grow in their faith and make decisions that honor God.
At the same time, Christian leaders must also be humble and recognize that their influence comes from God, not from their own abilities or achievements. They must strive to serve others selflessly, always seeking to glorify God rather than themselves.
Reflection Question: How can you use your influence to honor and glorify God rather than yourself?
